THE SAME PHENOMENON THAT AGED AN ENTIRE SHIP'S CREW IN A MATTER OF DAYS MAY CLAIM SCULLY AND MULDER UNLESS THEY CAN DISCOVER THE CAUSE.
When a crew of healthy young men ages 50 years overnight, Mulder and Scully take off for the North Atlantic to probe a new version of the "Bermuda Triangle." Suspecting military experiments in wormholes and other phenomena may be responsible, they travel to a stranded, abandoned destroyer. But once on board, they find themselves not only stranded and adrift but at the mercy of the strange force that is aging the survivors overnight. A pirate, a bewildered captain and a water-recycling system hold tantalizing clues; Mulder and Scully must find the cause and counteract it before they die of old age.
